It’s refreshing and energizing from the ginger and lemon. Packed full of goodness and very low in sugar! Have you had a GREEN smoothie lately?
I always freeze the cucumber to keep the smoothie cold. You can also add ice.
GREEN smoothie (low sugar)
- 2 large kale leaves, stem removed
- 1 green apple
- 1/2 cucumber (pre-cut and frozen is best)
- 1-1.5” piece of ginger root, peeled
- 1/2 lemon, peeled
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- ice (optional)
Combined all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth'ish. Enjoy!
