In January of 2017 I successfully completed a 21-day group cleanse hosted by Katie DiPasquale, an inspirational yoga teacher and holistic health coach that graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. This cleanse seriously CHANGED MY LIFE!!! I started a new Instagram account as a food diary during the cleanse and since I was having so much fun with it, I decided to keep it going.
Yams & Yoga is a place for me to share my passion for health, wellness and yoga. I hope to inspire others to eat clean and exercise regularly. I believe that every time you eat or drink, you are either feeding or fighting disease. I also believe in balance and strive for an 80/20 approach to my diet. I eat fresh seasonal, and usually organic, produce every single day.
